Our Story

Hi hi!

We are Mahir and Arnavi (Arni), jointly known as “Marnie”. We went to the University of Washington for our undergraduate degrees, which is where we met.
 

We were friends for quite a few years, and became closer when we took a Databases class together in early 2016. We were joined together (data tables joining pun for all of you techies out there), and 5 years after that we got engaged! Mahir proposed at a beautiful location in Big Sur on April 3, 2021, the anniversary of our first date. It was just us and nature – Arnavi’s perfect proposal. 
 

We’ve had so many adventures in our time together - hiking, trekking, fostering shelter dogs during the COVID-19 lockdown, road trips, and so much more. We have been by each other’s sides through thick and thin, and are so excited to begin this next phase of life together.
